PINEVILLE, La. – Ema Rose Germany and her mother, Kimberly, say a prayer at a deployment ceremony honoring Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 244th Aviation Regiment’s F Company, 2-135th MEDEVAC and Detachment 2, Company B, 248th Aviation Support Battalion, Nov. 22 at Esler Field in Pineville, La. More than 20 members of the regiment will report to Fort Hood, Texas for mobilization training, then to Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, on the year-long deployment in support of Operation Joint Guardian.
