Guardsmen participate in military appreciation night

NEW ORLEANS – In honor of the Memorial Day holiday, service members from all branches of the U.S. military participated in different roles at Military Appreciation Night during an Arena Football League game between the New Orleans Voodoo and the Arizona Rattlers in the New Orleans Arena, May 26, 2012.

Different members of the Louisiana National Guard were honored as Hometown Heroes, delivered the invocation and performed the coin toss.

During halftime, recruits from each component of the military marched onto the field to recite the Oath of Enlistment.
