Guardsmen continue rescuing citizens in Braithwaite
BATON ROUGE, La. – Louisiana National Guardsmen are continuing to assist local authorities in Search and Rescue operations in Braithwaite, located in Plaquemines Parish, Aug. 29, after Hurricane Isaac made landfall earlier this morning.
Guardsmen have assisted in more than 25 successful rescues, thus far.
