La. National Guard, Community honor fallen Soldier

NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana National Guard, family, friends and the community of Central Louisiana, honored fallen Soldier Chief Warrant Officer 4 George David Strother from Pineville, during a deplaning ceremony at the LANG’s Army Aviation Support Facility #2 at Esler Air Field, March 24.

Strother and three other Louisiana Guardsmen from the 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 244th Aviation Regiment died in a training accident, March 10, along with seven Marines.
