Youth Challenge Program

A preventive, rather than remedial, youth-at-risk program that targets unemployed, drug-free and law-free high school dropouts, 16 – 18 years of age. Components of the program are citizenship, academics, life-coping skills, community service, health and hygiene, skills training, leadership/followership, and physical training.

Starbase

Starbase is a DOD program aimed at improving math and science skills of young students. The program starts at the elementary school level in order to attract and prepare students at an early age for careers in engineering and other science-related fields of study.
