La. Guardsmen say farewell

PINEVILLE, La. – Soldiers from the Louisiana National Guard’s 204th Theater Airfield Operations Group and 2-244th Airfield Operations Battalion say farewell to family and friends at a deployment ceremony help at the Army Aviation Support Facility at Esler Field in Pineville, La., Jan. 6. The units will be deploying to Afghanistan and Kuwait to utilize their expertise in providing command and control, staff planning, supervision and standardization of all airfields and air traffic services within the theater of operations.
