La. Guardsman returns from deployment, surprises daughter at Kids’ AT

NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana National Guardsman Staff Sgt. Jeremy Marks of the 844th Engineer Company, surprised his daughter, Leona, during this year’s Kids’ Annual Training Camp in Bunkie, La., June 19, 2014.

“It just feels great to be home,” said Marks. “I just can’t wait to see my little girl again.”

Marks, and others from the 844th, based in Pineville, La., recently returned from a deployment to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
