La. National Guard, Community honors fallen Alexandria native

NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana National Guard, family, friends and the communities of Central Louisiana, came together to honor fallen Soldier Chief Warrant Officer 4 George David Strother of Pineville, during funeral services at the Alexandria Riverfront Convention Center and Alexandria Memorial Gardens, March 26.

 

Strother and three other Louisiana Guardsmen from the 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 244th Aviation Regiment died in a training accident, March 10, along with seven Marines.
