NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana National Guard, family, friends and the community of Hammond, came together to honor fallen Soldier Staff Sgt. Lance J. Bergeron of Thibodaux, during funeral services at the Woodland Park Baptist Church, March 30.

Bergeron and three other Louisiana Guardsmen from the 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 244th Aviation Regiment died in a training accident, March 10, along with seven Marines.
