NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana National Guard, family, friends and the community of Hammond, Louisiana, honored fallen Army Staff Sgt. Lance Bergeron of Thibodaux, during a deplaning ceremony at the LANG’s Army Aviation Support Facility #1 at Hammond Regional Airport, March 25.

Bergeron and three other Louisiana Guardsmen from the 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 244th Aviation Regiment died in a training accident, March 10, along with seven Marines.
